The role
What you will take ownership of.
Responsibilities
- Research and qualify inbound and outbound leads across web, mobile, CRM, cloud, and applied AI services.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client problems, constraints, budget signals, and decision timelines.
- Prepare concise opportunity briefs for leadership and delivery teams before proposals are drafted.
- Coordinate proposals, follow-ups, and meeting schedules while keeping CRM records accurate and current.
- Represent AonHive professionally in email, calls, and early-stage client conversations.
- Track pipeline stages, conversion metrics, and weekly activity against agreed targets.
- Gather market feedback on positioning, pricing signals, and competitor activity to inform growth strategy.
- Support case-study and reference conversations once delivery teams confirm client approval.
What helps you succeed
- 0–2 years of experience in business development, inside sales, account management, or a client-facing role in IT services or software.
- Strong written and spoken English with the ability to explain technical services clearly to non-technical buyers.
- Comfort using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and email for structured follow-up and pipeline tracking.
- Genuine curiosity about how software products are scoped, sold, and delivered.
- Organized, persistent, and comfortable working with targets in a small, senior team.
- Ability to work India business hours and collaborate asynchronously with delivery teams.
Useful, not mandatory
- Experience selling custom software, SaaS, or IT services to SMB or mid-market buyers.
- Familiarity with Upwork, Clutch, LinkedIn, or other channels used for professional services lead generation.
- Exposure to proposal writing, SOW basics, or pre-sales support.
- Graduate degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
