UI/UX engineering

What does UI/UX engineering cover?

UI/UX engineering that makes difficult work feel clear, fast, and considered.

We align interface design and front-end engineering so a dense workflow stays understandable. The empty state, the error, and the row someone cannot open are part of the screen.Discuss this capability

The work

A dense screen still has to be readable.

Dispatch, finance, and trip screens pack a lot into one view. The work is the order of that information, what can be done from the keyboard, and what stays visible when the list is long. We build the components with the states the product uses, including the empty state, the error, and the row a person is not allowed to open.

Best for Dense workflows, design systems, and customer-facing products.

Core capability

  • UX architecture
  • Design systems
  • Front-end engineering
  • Accessibility

What moves forward

  • Coherent interaction model
  • Reusable component system
  • Accessible production UI

How we approach it

Make the dense screen clear.

  1. 01

Order the information by the job

The first thing on the screen is the decision the person came to make. Secondary facts wait. A dispatch row, an invoice, and a trip each get a hierarchy from the task, not from a generic card layout.

  2. 02

Include the states that are not the happy path

Loading, empty, error, and forbidden are screens. Focus returns to a sensible place. A list that updates does not throw the keyboard user away.

  3. 03

Build components the product will reuse

Buttons, tables, and forms ship with the variants this product needs. A one-off style on a single page becomes the next inconsistency. The system stays as small as the product.

  4. 04

Keep the heavy update off the first paint

Large lists virtualize. Transitions cover updates that would otherwise freeze the page. We check the interaction on a keyboard and on a mid-range laptop before release.

Technology choices

A capable stack starts with the constraints.

These are technologies we can bring to this work when they fit the product, team, and operating environment.
