One image, from the laptop to production.

Build it once
The image is produced in CI from the commit. Production does not compile again from a directory someone copied.
- 02
Keep the image small and readable
A known base, a lockfile, and a non-root user. Secrets are injected at runtime. They are not baked into the layer.

Probe before traffic
A health check decides when the container can take requests. A failed start stays out of the load balancer.
